Joining the PHOENIX Executive Management team in 2018, Joseph DiRenzo acts as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer.  Formerly Director of Finance for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Northern Hospital Division, Joe is an experienced leader in health care finance.  In his role, he was responsible for the financial management of four community and regional hospitals across six campuses, approximately $1B in revenues.  Throughout his tenure, Joe has led hospital, division and enterprise-wide initiatives including merger and acquisition ROI, territorial finance re-organization, and revenue optimization/cost containment.

Joe has given multiple presentations (including a Feature Presentation) at leading OR Manager and OR Business Management conferences and more recently, published in the OR Manager Publications, “Business Case for New Technology,” February 2017.  In addition, Joe is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (SSGBC) through the University of Pittsburgh.

A 2015 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business, Joe traveled to Beijing and Shanghai, China during his coursework while earning his MBA and completed his undergraduate studies in 2006, with a BS in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
